Sears, Kmart outs Black Friday sales 2017 ads, starts doorbuster deals on Thanksgiving

Sister discount department retail stores Sears and Kmart releases their Black Friday 2017 ads with exciting deals and doorbusters to be offered on Thanksgiving in both online and in-stores.

Following its historic tradition in years, department stores chains Sears and Kmart will kick off their respective Black Friday 2017 sales on Turkey Day, parent company Sears Holdings announced in a press release on Tuesday, November 7th.

Both discount department retailers will open its doors for Black Friday 2017 sales on Thanksgiving Thursday with most Kmart location stores will be opened as early as 6 A.M. and lasts through 10 P.M. on November 23 and will re-open on the following day at 6 A.M. on Black Friday, Nov. 24.

Meanwhile, most Sears brick-and-mortar stores will open their doors nationwide on Thanksgiving Day to midnight and will re-open on the succeeding day at 5 A.M. on Black Friday.

In a news release published by Sears Holdings Corporation, the owner of retail store brands Sears and Kmart announced that the members of the Shop Your Way rewards program will have an early access to all Thanksgiving and Black Friday doorbusters at Sears and day after Thanksgiving deals at Kmart four days early, during an in-store Members Night from 6 to 10 P.M. on November 19 as well as online all-day November 19 and 20.

“Nothing says ‘ho, ho, ho-migawd!’ like our epic Black Friday doorbusters plus FREECASH in points,” said Kelly Cook, chief marketing officer in the release. “From deep discounts on your favorite gifts to amazing opportunities to skip the Black Friday chaos and shop early, this holiday season is all about our members — and we’re going BIG! Our month of promotions is sure to knock everyone’s stockings off and help stretch holiday dollars at the same time.”

To get the cashback in points on all your purchases at Sears, just send an SMS with keyword “FREECASH” to 52678.

The Kmart Black Friday 2017 ad posted on Tuesday at Kmart.com is a short 5-page advertisement and seems to be just a preview of the larger circular ad. On the front cover of the Kmart Black Friday ad, it indicates that more details are on page 47.

The Sears Black Friday 2017 ad posted Tuesday at Sears.com is 43 pages and compared to last year’s circular advertisement is quite saddening. The ad also notes that all items in-stores will be between 10 and 50 percent off with 40 percent off a wide selection of home appliances. Sears is also offering free 2-day shipping with a free 90-day trial on Shop Your Way MAX.

Both Kmart and Sears will also offer Black Friday 2017 deals and extra benefits to all shoppers, including free nearby location in-store pickup and free shipping straight to your homes on orders valued at $49 or more.

Menbeship warehouse club BJ’s Wholesale Club has already released its Black Friday ads last September, while Kohl’s has its ad leaked online. Amazon and Target announced their plans on Black Friday 2017 sales. Largest national retailer Walmart kicked off its very early Black Friday 2017 deals.
