Anyone wearing the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s No. 3 jersey on flights departing from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport are officially entitled to board early.
The Alaska Airlines announced the return of the promotion on Friday, August 11, which continues through the entire 2017 NFL regular season.
“As Seattle’s hometown airline, we are happy to once again extend this perk to our guests for the 2017 season,” said Natalie Bowman, Alaska Airlines’ managing director of brand and marketing communications, in a press release. “We invite all Seattle sports fans to join us in cheering Russell and the team on to a winning record.”
Serving in his fifth year as the Alaska Airlines’ “Chief Football Officer,” the carrier has donated more than $700,000 to Russell Wilson’s supported charities, including the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation, Strong Against Cancer as well as his own charity institution — the Wilson’s Why Not You Foundation, according to Centrio News. These non-profit organizations work to end pediatric cancer and improve the lives of youths living in Seattle.
