Beyhive rejoice! Beyonce Knowles, or simply knows as Beyoncé, took to the popular photo- and video-sharing social networking service Instagram on Thursday night, July 13, to share the first ever photograph of her twins with her loving husband JAY-Z, confirming that the twins names are Sir and Rumi Carter.
Swathed in purple dress and a turquoise veil, in front of a floral backdrop that recalled her bombshell pregnancy announcement earlier this year, Queen Bey, 35, also broadcasted the twins’ official birthday, saying that the photo was already “1 month today,” which would mean that the twins were born on June 13.
Rumors over Beyoncé and Jay’s second and third offspring has run uncontrolled in the last month, but the notoriously private couple — who are already parents to a 5-year-old daughter, named Blue Ivy — have done their best to stay out of the public eye.
On Wednesday, July 12, Beyonce was spotted out for the first time since giving birth to her twins, enjoying dinner with her husband JAY-Z at Nobu in Malibu, California.
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”
The Velvetiere confirmed late last June that Beyoncé and Jay named their newborns Rumi and Sir. “She’s loved shopping for the babies,” a source previously told The Velvetiere of how Beyonce prepared for the new arrivals of her twins. “Look for lots of matching outfits!”
